Sayemontess- Rebellion

Sometime in Sayemontess a long time ago, Coreena stood on the stage at the gallows. As the lights shown bright upon her, the scarabs known as June Bugs attacked her from the right. They hit her in the face, and shit onto her skin, but the sacred scarabs could not be killed cause killing them was a sin. Yes, these dumb insects flew into the light just to have electricity give them one last fight.

“Hear me! I see the tar. I see the feathers! Wait. No! Why are you unlocking the stocks? I thought you beautiful citizens were simply going to strip me bare, and tar and feather me, and run me out of Sayemontess on a rail to be left to die alone, and sad, but the stocks? Dear Lord!”

“Tar and feather! Lock her in the stocks! Hook her to the machine, and give her lots of shocks!” The beautiful citizens repeated.

“I’ll do better! I’ll do better! I won’t be able to scratch, or blow on my wounds! I won’t be able to keep the insects from entering me! Just hang me here in the gallows. I did nothing wrong. It was Peter! It was Peter, so just hang me here in the gallows for he is the one who must be locked up in the stocks, then tarred and feathered! Tortured by our cruel insects- he killed your great ruler. If you do not kill him- he will kill you!” Coreena told the largest audience she had ever had, but the Lord looked down at her from above, and He scowled for He knew the truth.

It was Coreena who killed their great ruler. Coreena knew the ruler must be female or the castle would not be run properly. No, it would not. It had to be her. It had to be.

Then, suddenly, the left hand of God reached down from the heavens, and choked the fuck out of Coreena.

“THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR LYING!”

Then, He took her into his right hand, and threw the bitch straight to hell. Do not pass go. Do not collect two-hundred dollars.

There she was, and there she would stay. She was stripped naked by demons- as there are no clothes in hell, and she was locked in a cage with no food or drink for a lie that she had told on the brink.

Peter

Peter was innocent, sweet, and a fool. As he heard Coreena drop his name while she faced the stocks, and worse, he was dumbfounded. Would she? Could she? Was she going to have him killed? What did he do? He put his hand on his sword, and began to withdraw it. He was going to charge the stage, and slit the bitches throat, but, was that thunder? Everything went black. Then, amongst the lightning flashes, he saw glimpses of Coreena’s body being all smashed up to pieces!

Was this an act of God? Had He taken Coreena right in front of their eyes? Her soulless body twitched, and it threw up a black, tarry substance that smelled like brown gravy. She blinked twice, and let out a sigh. That was her way of saying goodbye.

As Coreena lay mangled on the side of the stage, Peter put his powerful sword away. He was glad that he did not have to do a bad deed that day. Relief! The murderer was gone, but who would be their next great ruler? Someone strong enough to punish the liars, and rebels? Perhaps it was Peter who could rule Sayemontess. Perhaps, but at the old age of thirty-six, he had his doubts.

The Genuine Love From a Sister

At the time, Malina knew just what to do. She would lift up her brother, Peter, and Peter would become the king of Sayemontess. How could he not if she were backing him up? Surely, he had it in him to make an heir to the throne. His sperm count was high. Higher than most.

A Note on the Death in Sayemontess.

It was not easy living in Sayemontess. You could be on the great ruler’s good side one minute, then you could be locked in the stocks the next.

The musty dungeons were for the rebels. Soon, almost every cell would be occupied, or worse- they would be sent to the labyrinths down bellow.

A Note on the Labyrinths.

You will never understand the darkness. Run your fingers through your hair. Fear will make it all fall out, so only enter if you dare!

Beware of the evil Elzebum! He comes out at night. He wanders the labyrinth’s chambers just to give you all a fright!

Elzebum

He resembles a great spider. Black and evil as can be. I saw him once, and I did not like the way that he looked at me.

Watch out! Watch your back for it could be the Elzebum. The only way to scare him was with lots, and lots of gum.

Chew it up! Make it sticky. String it out from your mouth even though it is all icky!

Make bubble after bubble, and give each one a pop! The sound will scare him, so chew away! Do not stop!

Elzebum made it out of the labyrinths, and the musty dungeons, too. He could smell him. He could smell Peter, and he knew just what to do.

As he approached Peter who was sleeping, and dreaming of ruling Sayemontess, Peter tossed, and he turned in such great and miserable distress.

The Elzebum instantly grew out it’s nails. He shook violently, and clung onto the rails. Then he lunged forth, and killed Peter with all of his might! Poor Peter. Poor Peter! This gave the witnesses all a fright!

Then Mr. Elzebum morphed into a man that looked an awful lot like Peter. He took off towards the west never to return again. Not ever.

He had got out of the labyrinths, and the musty dungeons, too! Would you? Could you survive them? Could you?

Take with you lots, and lots of money, cause he can be bought off, and make sure to grab some water cause he will hear you if you cough.

His ears are highly sensitive, so be as loudly as you can. Do this! Do this to keep away from the Elzebum man.

Now, go quick! Look around! You might see this creepy guy, but he could be anywhere under the bright, blue, beautiful sky.

Natasha

Coreena had tried to start a rebellion on the stage that night, but instead she created a terrible sight. Natasha, a beautiful young citizen was in charge of cleaning the corpses off the stage, but usually, that meant lowering the ropes, and cutting the bodies free. Then she would wheel them away, and burn them, but Coreena left behind a frightful mess. What was most shocking was the expression on her face. She looked like she had seen hell, but Natasha knew for a fact that Coreena was having a glorious time in heaven with all of the other great rulers that had passed.

The Necklace that Clashed

Coreena had wore her favorite necklace to the stage. Emeralds were her favorite, but they did not match her beautiful, blue dress, and it was too nice to burn such a beautiful necklace.

No one would notice if she were to take it, and she did. Surely no one would notice. Then-

“What the fuck! She’s stealing her necklace!” Shouted one dumb man. “Code blue! Code blue!” He shouted again and again.

Code Blue

Theft of any kind was punishable by stocks, and the June bugs that were in season would latch onto your crotch.

Public humiliation was key in Sayemontess. It usually kept people in line. Now, Natasha faced questioning. If found guilty, she would be cuffed to the stocks naked for days. You never knew how long- all part of the punishment. It was to help the beautifully shamed citizen learn a lesson. A few citizens did not make it, but that helped the other citizens learn from the poor citizen’s mistake, so all was good.

Would Natasha lie? As the beautiful citizens waited around for the code blue inquisition, Natasha wept. It really was a beautiful necklace.

As she stood before the crowd with the necklace around her neck, she fumbled, and stuttered her way through what was to be known as the dumbest interview in all of Sayemontess, so they tore off her clothes, and they ripped the necklace from her throat.

“No! My necklace!” Natasha cried out, but it was too late. She would now have to face her Own pitiful fate.

Her left foot then her right were locked in pretty tight. Her hands were locked in tighter, and they placed the emerald necklace right on the rail in front of Natasha’s face.

“My necklace!” She cried. She had not yet learned her lesson. Then a June bug latched onto her snatch, and she cried out-

“MY NECKLACE!”

No one is innocent in your story, and each pays for their sin in turn, like the emerald beads of the necklace mentioned in the tale. The writing style reminded me of a play or a Greek epic, with an arbitrary moral decree handed down from above and a choral interlude in the middle of the drama.
