He meets us. Anywhere. Anytime. Anyplace. He meets us at the lowest part of myself, of ourselves. He even cried out while nailed to a cross as He is, was and always will be passionate. Passionate about us “getting it”.
Getting what?
A clue. Would be a good place to start. He begs. Begs. For us to get real. With ourselves. For others. The interior of ourselves. The interior of others. The interior of our emptiness (pf).

Emptiness.
He gives us a drink. The bartender of all bartenders🙂. Jesus gives us a drink. Another lesson.
Yes. Another consistent lesson of humility. Not only the gesture of love, but He shares our drink, he shares in our pain. Jesus descends, lowers Himself to that of a beggar and begs us to

He shares His drink with us to heal our silent cry, our silent cries.
Of yearning and learning. Of how to be close. Attentive. Listening. An oasis. A shelter. He begs us to,

The Thirst Traps.
The thirst traps are like land mines. Hidden. Insidious. Deadly.
They lie in our sub awareness, in our choice of choices, our desires of desires.
In 2023, a thirst trap is a trap.
A thirst trap is a statement or a photograph or someone on social media that is intended to attract.
To attract or attack?…Depends on the taker, the sender, the intent.

IE: “Rake” in a lot of likes. The clickbait of all “fishin’”

Beggar Desire More Like
Stop It.
The rush to consume. Can be deadly. The rake and the slake of the relevance snake. To espouse for one’s own use is best quenched when the thoughts, words, actions, deeds are on the same page.

The first step to admitting there is a problem is admitting there is a problem. Balance and steadiness come from character and commitment.

We know that the Law is good, if it is used as it should be used. It must be remembered, of course, that laws are made, not for good people, but for lawbreakers and criminals, for the godless and sinful, for those who are not religious or spiritual, for men who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the immoral, for sexual perverts, for kidnappers, for those who lie, and give false testimony or do anything else contrary to the true teaching. That teaching is found in the gospel that was entrusted to him to announce. The Good News from the glorious and blessed God.
Timothy knew.
Let those words be your weapons as you fight the good fight, and keep your faith and clear conscience.
