The first step towards my journey home.
The second step for the realization of how lonely I truly am.
From afar, I can see the light the sun turning in for the night. The skies never looked so beautiful.
Everyday, when I step out of work. I look up at the sky. Everything feels so surreal whenever the clouds danced on the colorful horizons.
The office is too loud. Everyone is always busy with only stress in mind. I do agree I am as well in pain with stress but, looking out the window relaxes me. The dying evening awaits for me outside these walls... The peaceful tones of the world playing as I walk with the sky to my slumber. It reminds me how much I enjoy the outside. The office was always tight and small, it always felt like the walls would close on me as the air gets thin. Everyone is always busy of work or the next house party. I only worry about the time. I want to leave early as I could just so I can walk with her... my shinning dying sky.
I know I prefer being alone if it means I can look at the sky in all of her glory. No one to distract me from getting lost in my thoughts. My mind beginsto sounder to the wonders the sky brings to me. Such endless fanstaies...
If only it can last forever. Everything is so boring, walking out to the train. Walking from the train to head home under an hour. Only a few minutes till I return home. I never want it to end. The colors of this world is dull without the sight of dusk.
I just wish I can live in a world where I can stare into the dying sun of the day. Watch forever till it's day again to only repeat itself.
I was lost until I found you. I realized now I wasn't lonely walking home... you were was always with me all this time.
If only I could tell you I love you...
The final step,
"Oh, I must've spaced out..."
The keys already in hand as I'm faced against the door of my house.
The slowest step,
If only I had more time.
My mind went blank as I looked back at her. The beautiful sky has gone to a starry sea. If only...
I had more time...
"...If only I had more time..."

Hi Era, This story was very relaxing, like a poem. I, too, have observed the sky at work and on my drive home. I love watching the clouds come together and make it rain. You did a very good job of comparing the sky and sun to a beautiful woman you can come home to every evening. Thanks for writing this.
