“To be or not to be” asked William S.

The floor was open to debate. And so it began. And it got ugly. Really ugly. Years, and years and years and years, so many years of ugly. Ugly debate that until today forced the hands of us to show our true colors. Good to know. The origin, that is.

Not one of us peasants and individuals were immune. From the ugly, the question, nor the answer. And many times, we showed our own ugly and true selves.

Freedom took the win today. Here. In the land of the free and the home of the brave. And brave the decision makers were. Kudos. For caring enough about the significant achievement this moment conveys to the greater good.

Huge.

Fortunately, the deciders had some “hints”, some “notes”, some history to refer to. Although there is no such “thing” as a human being as a “miracle worker”. It now begs the question.

Where do you stand?

Let’s refer to William S. and the written word of and by his hand.

”To be, or not to be”—that is the question: Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune

Or to take arms against a sea of troubles

And by opposing end them. To die, in sleep—

No more—and by a sleep to say we end

The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks

That flesh is heir to. ‘Tis a consummation

Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep—

To sleep—perchance to dream; at, there’s the rub,

For in that sleep of death what dreams may come

When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,

Must give us pause.

Really. Must give us pause. All of us. Spiritually, Ethically, Morally, Humanely. Lawfully, Kindly, Supportively.

Take your pick. Weep and wipe your tears any way you feel appropriate. Spare the drama-leave that for the stage. The biggest weep may come not in the right. But in the purpose.

Of not playing God. There is only one.

A belief in a thoughtful human and humans who quietly and patiently continued the fight. The quiet fight. The purposeful fight. A fight because of belief in the truth. Is that what William S. meant? To be or not to be? Was William S. contemplating playing God, by ending a life?

It begged an answer to the question when William S. wrote it then. Just as it begged a question now. In modern times. Interesting that the debate remained basically the same. The tentacles of discontent, however, grew worse and worse and worse over time. Almost desperate. Refusing to let it go.

We have all been there.

Destination wedding? Destination unknown.

What has changed the most? The dis-respect for a life. All lives.

Pathetic really. Is that what William S. meant. Death is the easy way out? Or is death the easy way in? Must we consult Geico or Progressive. Or the Medics of Care? Or must we ask them first? For permission. Perhaps they know something the rest of us do not.

A pill is a pill is a pill? The magical pill? Far as I know historically, William S. did not have a pill around during his time here on earth. And if he did, would he have chosen God. Chosen to play God? It begged the question. When he asked: “To be or not to be”.

Eternally rested? To me it sounds like a contemplation. Of playing God. Perhaps William S. had plenty of liquid “pill” at his disposal. And still pondered the possibility of a sleep of no return. What may have happened to ignite this light of darkness within him? Circumstances. William S. was brave enough to share his doubts in his handwritten form of expression. We should all weep for his bravery.

The good news. Freedom took a take today in the land of the free and home of the brave. In modern, cultural times. “To be or not to be” also asks an overlooked and possibly more important question. Today.

About creation. Or procreation.

Destination wedding? Or Procreation? Of creation. Kudos once again to the deciders today who chose freedom in the land of the free and home of the brave. Because they offered us of the greater good, the option, the choice to continue our bravery and thought. And to “do it”, to decide, for ourselves what to do for ourselves. Without control of our freedom to do so. Let’s hope the debate healthily continues forward.

The brave deciders also empowered the young and old. To live a life of choice. Not a lack of choice. More choice. Which brings us to a higher purpose. Again. Your choice. The higher purpose of your belief. Your beliefs. The take is now. That you must decide where your quiet loyalties lie.

“To oblate or not to oblate”. That is the question. Freedom and debate continue to allow you to. It is yours to decide. A better, less mean and more meaningful actionable way to pass goodness on.

The peace that passes understanding. To en-courage, not dis-courage. To not choose riot and hate as your “expression” of dis-content. Simply and quietly take your bat and ball and and go. Home. The choice is yours. The choice will continue. To choose life. Not an eye for an eye.

The way to pass on sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God (who is the source) of every comfort (consolation and encouragement) who comforts(consoles and courage’s) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction) so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we are comforted (comforted and encouraged) by God

(Corinthians 1:34) (HNW)

Jumping on the bandwagon is your choice. Choose to encourage, not dis-courage. Courage is contagious. Today the message the deciders conveyed in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

A peace that passes understanding. And the timing could not have been more perfect. Just as God asks of us.

But do not take my word for it. Although I am encouraged if you do. Encouraged for you. Not in spite of you. The best part of the decision is that it is yours to make. Still. Please think twice and do not feel compelled to have to “go public” with your dis-content, your intentions to inflict harm or distress upon anyone else”. That is mean.

The Big Guy in the Sky is always watching over you. He begs of you, like William S., to contemplate. Contemplate the good, the better. Not only when when the WIFI goes down, or the charge runs out. To contemplate to always stay connected to the greater good in a meaningful and good way.

Perfect!
