American High School Mystery

NOT PART OF PROMPT.

The Mary Celeste was an American merchant vessel found abandoned in the Atlantic Ocean. On board the ship was the ship’s captain, his wife, their two year old daughter, and seven crew members. The boat set sail with only one life boat on board. The ship's captain was very skilled and knew how to captain a boat very well. The mystery is, what happened to the Mary Celestes passengers and where did they go?

According to Britannica.com, the Mary Celeste was found seaworthy but was slightly damaged. None of the passengers aboard the ship were ever heard from or seen again. The Mary Celeste was originally named “The Amazon '', because it brought items from place to place. In 2002, documentarian Anne Macgregor began to investigate the mystery of the Mary Celeste.

A third theory is that the mary celeste caught in the water spouts. The fifth theory is that the merciless exploded due to the alcohol on board.
