Holiday Fiction Western

Rita and Martin has been planning to go on a holiday to change their daily work routine. Rita secured a group tour from a travel agency. This will be the first time that they will go for a cruise going to the Caribbean Islands. Looking at the itinerary there are four countries where the tourists are going to visit. Rita has been dreaming to visit some other countries and gain some experience to know other cultures and to see the famous landmark of the land and what would be the most important thing they wanted to see during their travel is to see what is in the wild. Wild animals to be exact. Where will they find them on this trip? Of the four countries Cayman Islands, Honduras . Mexico and Belize. most likely they will find them in Belize which is being mentioned in the travel brochure. By the way they could reach the place by riding on a tour bus which is located at the outskirts of the city of Belize Rita and Martin are really anxious to see wild animals having been raised in the city they want to have a first hand experience to see them in the wild. This trip will be a very good chance for them to see what they have been dreaming of. How different to see these wild animals on TV screen only those with strong imagination might feel that it is a first hand experience. However Rita and Martin tossed away that idea, here is a chance for them to see the real wild animals if possible to hold them too. So both of them were excited looking forward to a fulfilling vacation with the other passengers of the cruise to have some fun during their holiday. Here at the port of Florida the cruise ship named Enchanted World is waiting for their passengers to board the ship. It has seven stories to put the passengers to occupy their cabins . Rita and Martin are on the fourth floor. Everything that is happening is new to them. Why not? Can you imagine a big eating area aside from the restaurants greeted Rita and Martin. They are handed with an Out To The Sea folder instructing them what to do every night after boarding the ship. Inside their cabin are their own beds like what you see inside a hotel with washroom and bathroom. That's already a luxury. Early in the morning they are sitting on the deck to watch the sun and beautiful shining waters of the sea. Land is too far , it is all water to see. How invigorating is the see breeze. And the stillness of the surrounding is deafening. Rita and Martin opt for breakfast planning to walk around later on to see what activity they will join with others. Going down from the deck arrows led them to the big and wide dining area where breakfast is served. There you go, here at a cruise ship trip there is no cooking, it's all about eating relax ing and sleeping. But remember to go to the Exercise room to stretch and strengthen your muscles walking around the deck is not enough. Just do it until you feel tired. At noon with the good weather many passengers sit down at the deck to pass the time while others went back inside their cabin to rest . Others are in the wide dining area to eat lunch. Choose anything you want to eat, dairy, seafood poultry fruits and vegetables. Some may choose to go to the restaurant for a special meal but if you don't like to spend your money everything is there at the big and wide dining area. The only difference at the restaurant is that food is serve like the way it is in restaurants where the waiters are there to serve . Drinks can be expensive too but since it is a holiday for Rita and Martin they ordered one to satisfy their craving for drinking. They are sent to line up after their meal going to the karaoke bar. Martin is a singer. Here they met other singers and a persistent audience that they promise to go back and see hear Martin sing every night. Martin feel excited to perform in a venue where his audience are all strangers. They like his songs to the impersonation of Frank Sinatra, Lionel Richie, Engelbert Humperdink and others. how they clapped when Martin sang New York New York and Hello by Lionel Richie. This was the exciting part of their holiday when Martin see his fans listening to him every night. The next day Enchanted World Cruise Ship landed on Cayman Islands. Passengers disembark to see what landmark have they chosen to see riding on a bus. Rita and Martin chose to go and see the dolphins. This is what they like. A marine animal swimming in a man made pool and doing some tricks with his trainer. On their way back to the cruise ship Rita and Martin saw chameleons climbing on fruit trees their colors borrowed from their surroundings as a camouflage to hide them from predators. Another sight of a live animal. Back to their cabin after eating lunch they choose to rest sleep and relax. Cuddling together in their bed they thank God for a wonderful trip. Waking up in the evening they went to eat supper at the big wide dining room. This is life made in heaven when you don't have to worry anything but eat drink and have fun. It is Entertainment Night to watch the show of many different artists. Singers, comedians magicians and clowns. Martin and Rita has to go to the karaoke bar to meet his fans. They received an invitation from one of the fans to eat with them at the restaurant. What a privilege and honor to accept the invitation. The next day Rita and Martin entered the gaming floor. Martin sat down at the Blackjack table while Rita play the penny machine. They didn't stay long whether they gained or lose in their games their priority is the karaoke bar where Martin sings. For those who are fond of jewel ery it's the time to buy them by the meter. A meter of gold cost $1 dollar. It's a deal. This is the only item Rita find interesting. It is an expensive commodity outside the cruise ship. Rita took the opportunity to buy for her relatives and friends as a souvenir of her trip. A necklace as a gift, it is worthy to give. There are other items to buy but Rita and Martin agreed that they no longer buy anything. Honduras is their next stop and saw more construction as it is developing roads and bridges to open for visitors and tourists. Their next visit is Mexico. As soon as passengers get down from the cruise ship a group of women in their native costumes greeted the passengers. Rita and Martin waved their hands. Seeing them in their native garbs signifies their identity as a nation showcasing on how they are dressed. It makes them unique separate and distinct. And also their language speak of them. It represents who they are. They have also a buried culture which is called the Mayan Ruins. The Mayans is a long lost civilization and the only remnant that they left are the Mayan Ruins or Edifices. Structures that seem to reach heaven or upward where they offer sacrifices to their gods expanding from Mexico to Belize being neighbors. Belize City is the last stopover of the cruise ship. Passengers who wanted to go and see one of the Mayan Ruins must take a bus to go there. Rita and Martin must go to see the wild animals they wanted to see. As they have expected when they reach the Mayan Ruins ,which is a huge structure where people can go to the top and see the platform where their sacrifices are being offered to their gods. Rita didn't find an Animal Sanctuary but children selling wild animals. She was caught by surprise. The least comfort that she felt is the real live animal that she saw is a bright colored Macaw.
