Sensitive themes: Drugs, sudden deaths
Drugs are all Alex can think of when he woke up from his long, deep slumber. He got up and went to the bathroom. He gazed into the mirror, an unshaven face with sunken eyes and hollow cheeks was staring back at him.
He sighed, everyday is the same, he will get up, go to the bathroom, stare into the mirror, drug himself, then go back to sleep.
His friends, who stopped hanging out with him, had advised him to give up the drugs and stop the addiction completely, but he never did.
He is now a wasted man, only spends his money on drugs, only gets up from bed to take more pills.
After he finished staring at his ghastly face, he heads to the kitchen, where he opened a cupboard full of glass bottles. He reached in and fumbled for an un-empty bottle of cocaine.
He had kept all of the empty bottles in this cupboard to avoid the garbage man reading the labels.
For an instant, he thought he was being watched. He swept around, knocking a few bottles out of the cupboard. There was no one in the room, except for him.
He shrugged, thinking he was just imagining things.
Feeling satisfied after taking his drugs, he went back to his bed, taking in all of the warm underneath the cover, not knowing that this will be his last day.
He was just about to fall asleep...
when he heard a tapping noise coming from his bedroom window.
He cuss all the way to the curtains to slide open the window, getting ready to give that person a good punch in the face.
But what he saw when he draw back the curtains almost made him jump out of his skin.
A grinning face with blood-red eyes and a pair of white, razor-sharp teeth with no nose, is pressed against the window.
Yes, just a pair of eyes and teeth, no lips, no cheeks, no head, just evil red eyes and white teeth.
Alex grabbed a gun from his desk drawer and pointed it at the creature, but to his surprise, the creature was gone, leaving him pointing a gun at an innocent glass window.
Alex's eyes drooped and his brain began to fog.
The next morning, he was found dead in his own bedroom by the neighbour's dog who smelt dead meat.
His eyes were gone, as if someone had used a dagger to scoop them out of their sockets. And his teeth, gone, as if someone had pulled them out with a pair of strong pliers.
Police cars parked right outside Alex's house after the neighbour, whose dog discovered Alex dead, called 911 to investigate.
2 months later
The house was put on sale. $2000
5 years later
Ethan and his wife, Elena is going to move into a house. Ethan just saw a house on sale online and excitedly clicked the buy button right after he gleefully glanced at the cheap cost.
With all of their belonging stuffed in the trunk of the car and the suitcases on the passengers' seats.
Little did they know, is that the house they are moving in, will be the last place they will be.
"Home sweet home!" yelled Ethan.
"Not so loud," complained Elena, who had just dozed off.
Ethan began to pull out suitcases from the trunk when he saw something in the house through a window.
He stared at that place for a long time, thinking that he was just imagining things.
"Hey Ethan, I thought I saw something in that house," said Elena.
Ethan just shook it off.
"Maybe it's your imagination."
"Are you saying that I'm crazy?"
"No, it's just that...
Ethan jumped backwards when he saw something move in the corner of his eye.
"Let's just rent a hotel and leave tomorrow," Ethan stuttered.
His wife stared at him confusingly.
They both pushed the heavy suitcases back inside the car.
Even after they had moved out of the place, Ethan can still feel that something was off.
A cloaked figure was standing a few yards away from them.
Ethan honked the car to get his attention but to his surprise, he didn't move.
It was only when Ethan became annoyed and got out of the car to shoo him away, when he realised that the figure wasn't human
It turned its head, revealing only a pair of blood-red eyes and razor-sharp teeth.
He staggered back, tripping over aa large rock.
The creature laughed maliciously, showing off more teeth that are as sharp as daggers.
Its voice was a mixture of an old hag and the hissing of a snake.
His wife began to scream, and plead for him to go back in the car and get out of here.
He kicked the car engine to life and sped away, making a sharp turn around the corner.
They don't stop until they were at least a few kilometres away, when they heard a cackling noise in the car.
They looked at each other, both faces were drained of blood, and as pale as a ghost.
"W-Why are you laughing?" asked Ethan.
"WHat do you mean I'm laughing, that's not even my voice!" replied Elena.
They turned back, facing the passengers' seat, there sat the creature, sitting between the suitcases.
It lifted the hood with long, crooked black fingers and there it is, red eyes and razor-sharp teeth.
Hello, my name is Ralph. And I had just moved into Number 13. My first night wasn't bad. Except for the feeling that I was being watched. Maybe it's because of the last three deaths that are linked to this house.
This house reeked of blood. I'm gonna have to spend some time to cleanse the whole house thoroughly.
I also heard tiny pattering of footsteps in the walls, more likely in the ceiling and under the floorboards. I suspect there are rats, and more pests.
The neighbours said that this house is haunted. Who's afraid of a house? It's not as if the house is gonna eat you. Yes, I heard about the story of the man who died with their eyes and teeth taken out. I can't believe I am standing right at the spot where he laid dead. And about the couple who died of car accident also had their eyes and teeth taken out.
Completely disgusting!
Hey, did I just hear a tapping noise on my window?
