Daddy dearest

The story I am going to tell is not a fairy tale,where some fairy would enter your life and change all your sorrow to something what you would call as heaven. This is story of Ana, a normal teenager and had many crazy wishes as others of her age had too. Her daddy dearest never left her alone. He was a way too possessive and seriously a way too protective. Ana grew up lonely, no friends and no friendly relatives. She loved her daddy so much and he gave all the things what she wanted. Since she was a kid, had no one as dearest except her daddy. He was her superhero. But something was wrong,which she couldn't realize ever.

One day Mike, his neighbour came along with her from school to home,talking," Hey! I never knew that you could talk to someone, like us humans".

Ana giggled and said" hmm, that was great what you said. I love to talk with people, cuz you get something to know. But I don't know since I was a kid,my daddy never let me talk to someone,I don't know why? Not even to my relatives. Now I have problem, while talking to someone,I become restless and anxious,and you know my palm become sweaty, I mean a lot sweaty, it becomes pale and cold.I don't know what to do??"

Mike said," hmm, Ana don't you worry, we have become good friends now, your problem is mine. Let's do one thing, from tomorrow we will walk till home like this. Whatsay?"

Ana got a friend for first time in her life,she was excited a lot.

Mike asked her" you are a friendly girl,how come you don't have a friend? That's weird.I mean we're in our teen man!"

Ana felt embarrassed and thought to herself about why she couldn't be like other teenager.

Mike said," oh boy, here we are in front of your house.I wish I could talk to you a bit more. Why don't you join me in the tennis club this evening? It will be fun,I promise you that."

Ana said," let me ask my daddy. He is everything to me".

Both waved their hands at each other and walked to their home.Ana was excited about her new friend and tennis as it was happening for the first time in her weird life.

" Daddy, where are you? Iam home, I want to tell you something, where are you?"

Her daddy came out of his room and slapped her," you, you moron, filthy creature, I thought that you would obey my words. But look at you, you came with a guy.Where were you till now? Where had you been I watched you two from window,you were giggling a lot hee hee hee?"

Ana couldn't believe that her Daddy dearest was behaving like this all of a sudden,"daddy,why are you behaving like this? Iam your Ana. Listen to me once".

"Shut up,you are just like your mother,she used to talk with every guy. So,I raised you with lot of protection so that no guy looks at you. But no, it happened today. Thank God, that I saw you or else I am sure,that you would have eloped. I think, your time has come to send you to your mom ", her dad held her arms firmly, it was hurting her a lot.

"What? To mom? You said that she is no more, died of cardiac arrest", Ana was confused, she was confused that whether her daddy was talking about killing her or whether her mom was still alive somewhere.

He didn't talk a word dragged her to the attic, where Ana had never been there as it was forbidden for her to go there.

What she saw there was gruesome,she saw her mother, whose eyes were sunken and muscles were wasting, looked as if she is in the middle of life and death,she was tied to a chair by Ana's so called daddy dearest. He kept her there in that condition for 10 years.

He pushed Ana in that room and said," well, well,well, two ugly creatures are in my captivity, now nothing is there to be worried of, my dignity and pride are with me and shall always be with me",saying this he locked the attic left those two to rot there forever.

Ana was broken into many pieces, couldn't believe what she saw. Swiftly went to her mom and freed her, hugged her, both cried for hours together.

Ana asked her," mom tell me why are you here? I remember,when I was a small kid daddy told me one day that you are no more. What happened?"

Her mother hugged her and said with tears in her eyes," my beautiful flower Ana, I can not believe that you have grown up to a beautiful young lady, the last time I saw you, you were in my arms so little and adorable. We too had a pretty good family like others. It was all going fine, one day a friend of your daddy came home, we talked and laughed together, he didn't say a word in front of his friend, but after he left home, your daddy tortured me by saying that I liked to spend time with his friend. Another day a guy asked me some address, I just told him that I didn't know, looking at this your dad thrashed me like an animal. It never stopped, he went on doubting me.One day, he was out of his mind and locked me here, I don't know how many years have gone..."

Ana wanted to remove her mom from this hell at any cost. She was waiting for a chance. That evening Mike came to her house to take her out for tennis club, but Ana's dad didn't open the door.

Mike left with disappointment, thinking that Ana was playing with him, " crazy girl, I wanted to help her,I won't eat her, though she is good looking, let it be I won't talk with her ever again".

A white handkerchief fell in front of him from the attic, he looked up and saw Ana and started to scream," hey Ana come outside, let's go to tennis club".

Ana made a sign with her hands, not to make any noise and just pick up the handkerchief.

Mike understood and lifted that handkerchief and looked at it, it was written in blood" SOS 911".

Then cops came to their rescue, her dad was put behind the bars.

Years passed,her mom got a new life, Ana became a popular fashion designer all around the world and she is still in contact with Mike. Ana loved her daddy so much, so pleaded the court to give him some counseling from a well known psychiatrist, in the hope of having a family someday.....
