How One Pastor In A Plane Saved The Earth
Once upon a time many years ago there lived a young woman named Alice who wanted to take a trip down to Morganton, North Carolina to see her daughter and who had just given birth to her first granddaughter named Susy who was quite eager to see her first grandson named Timothy, although she’d just call him Tim like his parents did. Since it was her first grandchild, and her son lived in Morganton, North Carolina, she had to take a train because her daughter didn’t trust her to make any long drives, and it would have taken her several hours to get there so Alice decided to take a train because flying in a plane was far too expensive. Besides, she had just retired 3 weeks ago and since her husband had just recently had a heart attack, she was also quite lonesome and desired to be around people as often as possible. The problem was when she reached the Amtrak station, the guy at the cash register who took up money for the tickets told her they would cost way, way too much to fly, he suggested that she try and take a train there. Yet when she arrived at the ticket office, the guy told her it would cost way, way too much money for her to make that trip, let alone round-trip. That news made her really sad because she wanted to see her new grandbaby while he was still a baby, preferably before graduated from college. That upset the old woman so badly she waited until she was beyond all the cars in the parking lot, then she cried, which a few minutes later turned into a
full-fledged bawl. Since she couldn’t even make it upstairs to her bedroom, she flopped down on the living room couch and bawled. Her sobs could be heard several yards away, but she couldn’t help it. Throughout her whole life, the main thing she had always wanted to do was to see her grandchildren grow up, starting when they were first born, but that wouldn’t happen.
She had been crying alone in her house, while having a little, “pity-party” for herself, when a thought came to into her mind, she had a choice to make at that time, she could either try to come up with some alternative things to do with her time, or cry and feel sorry for herself. Since the former appeared to have some better results in her way of thinking, that’s what she decided.
Just then, she was amazed to see a little, tiny figure come gliding through her her house towards her. It was colored a mighty strong shade of blue, yellow, white, but mostly pink colors all around her. She had the prettiest face she’d ever seen in her life. The little figure continued floating over towards her. She was absolutely terrified at first to see this brilliantly colored light
Come floating silently through the air towards her. Then the tiny, bright light lit on the coffee table which was a few yards away from where she was sitting on her sofa at that particular point in time. The little flying-person was so cute, it made Suzy stop crying immediately and smile, which caused her new, little friend to return that happy expression to her. The tiny, floating creature spoke to her in a really soft, soothing voice. It was then that the old woman, who used to live in a shoe, who had all her grandchildren visiting her. There were so many of them the old woman didn’t know what to do. That’s when she got the great idea to feed them since they’d been traveling for several hours on the train and had all become quite hungry. Yet when the children asked her what and when was supper, all she had to feed them was cold broth which had been left on the stove. There wasn’t even any bread to go with it. When the children asked her for something else to eat because they were growing children, she whipped them all soundly and sent them to bed. That caused the police to come knocking on her door, but when they had locked in and saw all the children were in bed, they apologized and with a tip of their hats, just went on their way. The old woman told them they’d be moving out of the she into a boot several days later. That’s because her kids were all into some different sports, but they each had enough room to practice doing their things. Also none of them had ever had so much as a single, “sock” to each other. That convinced the cops that she had done nothing unlawful.
She was mighty surprised when the guy who was working at the ticket-booth said, “Hie! Welcome aboard! Thank you for choosing Tromwick’s Train Service! Come on aboard and find a seat, but do it now! We’re ready to pull off and begin our magical adventure whenever you can sit down and buckle your seat belt! Above all, smile, for crying out loud! You need to just take that ugly, ‘n’ shape your mouth is in now and turn it into a u shape before we can get started on our way to our destination! Whenever you can find the time, we’d all appreciate it if you would invert both corners of your mouth so they point North instead of South! Use that risorius muscle, also those zygomaticus major and minor muscles since they’re the ones that are used for laughing! Close your mouth! It looks like you’re trying to swallow a watermelon!”
Alice stood up. It was then that she noticed there was a long, beautiful, flowing dress wrapped around her. When she stood up and turned the slightest bit to either side, it sparkled just like the Sparklers did when her daddy or big brothers would light them. The dress was covered with every color in the rainbow. Then it registered with her, the reason it was so sparkly and shiny at that point in time and it felt like she was wearing several boxes of multi-colored Sparklers when they had all been lit at the same time. When she looked around, those sparkly things were floating around her, keeping her safe from any harm since she was completely surrounded by beautiful, twinkling lights. She felt like she had been put in the middle of some huge, magic Christmas tree that was twinkling all over the place which was surrounding her.
Just then something went in front of the sun, which kept it from giving out any warmth and light. That caused all the pretty things that had been surrounding Alice with such beautiful, twinkling lights to suddenly go out simultaneously. It was as if somebody had unplugged the cord that was in the wall. All those cute, beautiful lights which had been so pretty and were surrounding her on all sides had gone out at the same time. That left her shivering in complete darkness. She figured that was the worst thing that had ever happened to her, which meant all the joy had been instantly taken out of her life. Not only were all those nice memories of the happier moments which she had experienced throughout her whole life had been completely erased from her brain, which meant the only type of memories that remained in her brain were those of horrible things which had happened to her throughout the whole time she’d been on Earth. That was the worst feeling she had ever experienced in her life, and didn’t know why.
Then she stuck out her head around what was a few seconds before, an extremely beautiful arrangement of multi-colored, twinkling lights. Yet temperature suddenly dropped dramatically, thus causing everything to freeze solid instantly, meaning each tree, flower, animal and human who were on the planet at that point in time. Also, places which were already frozen such as Antarctica, Alaska and The North and South Poles were flourishing because they were already quite cold as it was. In fact, all the penguins, walruses, otters, polar bears and seals were each literally freezing to death. Alice wondered what had just happened to make everything freeze so easy all of a sudden. Her science teacher had just explained to the class and her how the sun’s temperature controlled everything alive on Earth. Her meteorologist teacher had told her if the sun ever lost it’s power, it would end life not just on Earth, but the rest of the solar system. The only ones which wouldn’t be affected were those like Neptune and others that were so far away from the son anyway. Alice knew something had to be done immediately or the whole planet Earth and every living thing one it was sure to meet it’s end, but what could such a young girl do which could make even the slightest bit of difference in such a humongous problem that affected not only everybody, but everything on Earth. Yet nobody seemed to be trying to do anything.
That was when Alice suddenly remembered what her Sunday school teacher had been teaching her during Bible study which was, if you need a miracle of any kind, turn it over to God. That’s when she knelt down on her knees, folding her hands in front of her and began praying, “Now, Father, you’ve put me here on Earth to do some really extraordinarily terrific things. If You didn’t, You wouldn’t have blessed me with so many talents which are not being used. Yet, I’m asking You now, Lord, to help me defeat those terrible creatures which are trying to destroy this old Earth you’ve so graciously put here in the solar system to live on. However, at this point in time, I really need You to work through me so we can defeat this weapon which has been formed against me, but with Your help, together We can make me be more than an over-comer through Christ. All I need from You right now is please, Lord, now please hear my effective fervent prayer since I’m a righteous man. Please hold true to Your Word and help us defeat all our enemies, so do something to solve this problem that’s affecting not just me, but everybody on Earth at this point in time. Hallelujah, Father! Do that right now in Jesus’ mighty Name!”
After saying that, Alice bowed her head and began praying in tongues, which was something sh’d never done except in Church or when others were praying out loud and she wanted to agree with what they were saying in English. As she shook her head in disgust that it was even needed for her to pray such massive prayers, but then another sound came to her ears, like the sound of some gigantic dinosaur-sized monster tromping through the snow. When she looked out her window, she saw several super colossal-sized snowmen which were marching through the town where Alice had grown up in. Yet when they began to stomp on buildings and the tanks which by then, had begun firing on them and were all stomping on those machines and the brave men who were driving them. That made Alice’s anger turn into utter loathing towards those scary-looking monsters who would stomp out the whole metropolis of Danville if nothing was done to stop them, but when they even began to swat those fighter planes and crush every kind of tank, plane, battleship and tank like they were Matchboxes, that made her really irate. She wanted to do something which would make a difference, but what could a young girl do?
Suddenly the thought came to her, she remembered her Sunday school teacher saying, “if you will put your faith in the Lord, He’ll help you with any problem” so she knelt down and prayed much harder than she had ever prayed for anything in her life, believing in Jehovah Nissi, Who was her Protector and The Defender Of The Weak. She had to shout loudly since she couldn’t even hear her own voice over all the terrible chaos which was ensuing outside.
Suddenly the sound of battle began to get weaker. When it got quiet enough, she looked out the window and saw all those gross-looking creatures falling down wherever she looked. Within a few minutes the sounds of the bomber planes also ceased. When Alice looked out the window, she saw all those terrible things that had been firing on everybody and each type of weapon that had been trying to wipe them out. Within a few minutes, they were all on the ground, dead. That was followed by the sound of Church bells ringing throughout the entire planet. Those awful aliens whom had come to destroy the whole Earth and all of its inhabitants had been defeated. When they began to breathe our polluted air, their bodies couldn’t take it. That proves our Lord is our Protector, and Everything else we need. The end. By, Cuz Roye.
