Horror Teens & Young Adult High School

It was a beautiful fall afternoon. The trees were full of orange and yellow leaves. The smell of barbeque filled the air. The wind gives a cool breeze through everyone's hair. The sun was filling everyone with warmth as well. All the kids outside were playing and laughing with their friends. Everyone loved being outside on days like this, well everyone except for Andrew. Andrew is a sixteen year old boy who loved keeping to himself. It's not that he didn't like going outside, he did on occasion, but he mainly loved to be reading, writing, or studying. He really didn't get along with kids at school, so being alone just felt refreshing to him. While he was reading, Steve and three of his friends came by to see if Andrew wanted to come hang out with them. He was shocked considering they have been picking on him since grade school. Not having anything to really do today, Andrew agreed to go with them. He made sure before he went to message his parents that he was leaving and who he would be with, like he always did. They all rode their bikes and Andrew followed behind to the destination. When they arrived he noticed they were at the railroad. He wasn't allowed to be here because of the kid that was playing here and got hit by a train in fifth grade. It made Andrew feel uneasy so he asked if they could all go someplace else. They all gathered around him and started pushing him to each other. They called him a wuss as they were doing so until Steve let him fall. They all started to laugh, Andrew tried getting up but they started to kick him around. After a few minutes of doing so, Steve checked his watch and began to smile. He asked Andrew if he wanted a front row seat to see the train. Don, Jacob, and Travis were confused as to what he meant by that remark. Steve dragged Andrew's body over to the tracks. Andrew's vision was blurry and he couldn't feel much of his body from the hits he had just taken. His ears were ringing as well so he had no idea what was happening. He tried to move but Steve put his favorite knife through Andrew's hand to keep him down. Andrew never felt so much pain before, it had brought back his senses. Don, Jacob, and Travis were mortified and had no clue what was being done. The ground began to shake and everyone realized the train was coming. Andrew called out for them to help him. Travis ran towards him to set him free but Steve grabbed him holding him back. In a matter of seconds Andrews body was no longer there. While Steve sat there with the biggest grin, the three others were going ballistic. They couldn't process what just happened. Don threw up in the bushes, Travis fell to his knees and burst into tears, and Jacob just paced back and forth. Steve grabbed all of them and told them to pull themselves together. They all backed away from him, wondering how he could do that to someone? How did he enjoy putting someone through that? What did Andrew do to deserve this? Steve threatened to do the same to the three of them if they went to anyone about this. They all rode home as if nothing happened. A few hours had passed and Andrew's parents got home from work and were surprised to see that he wasn't home. He usually was home before dark and didn't stay out for more than two hours. They tried calling him and it went straight to voicemail. They immediately checked his location and it showed the last place he was at was the railroad. They were shocked since he wasn't allowed to go there. They drove to the tracks and called out his name and searched for him. About thirty minutes went by and they didn't find anything. They almost lost hope until they saw his bike and sweater lying on the ground. They called the cops and told them everything. Because they live in a small town, they arrived in no time. When the officers arrived, they helped comb the area but nothing was found. An hour passed when someone finally had found a clue. Steve's knife was still stuck in the ground and it had blood on it. The police declared it a crime scene. Andrew's mother cried on his fathers shoulder, realizing something horrible happened to their son. Finally the police were able to calm down his parents and had them go home. They assured them that they would find out what happened to their little boy. Some of the officers went and questioned the boys who were with him at the time. Three of them told the police that they all went to the tracks to hang out like usual and Andrew wasn't feeling it so he left. They refused to answer anything else, when the police brought up the knife. Travis on the other hand, completely broke down. Hot tears rolled down his cheeks and he told them that wasn't supposed to happen. When they finally got him to calm down, he told them every single little detail, including the threat. His parents felt so disgusted that their own son would be part of something like that. The policemen thanked him for his cooperation and arrested him and notified the others to do the same for the three boys. Travis agreed to testify against himself and his friends. After getting them all detained, the Sheriff let Andrew's parents know what happened. His mom dropped to her knees and cried while holding her hands to her heart. His dad got angry and demanded the boys be punished for what they did to his son. A few days later it was the day of the first hearing. Andrew's parents were the first to arrive. Everyone was saddened by the tragedy. Everyone knew how good of a kid Andrew was. After the parents were seated, they brought all four boys in. Andrew's father stood up immediately and started yelling, his wife had to hold him down. The police warned the parents that if they caused another scene that they would dismiss the session. The judge was called after a few minutes. When he had everyone seated the lawyers from both parties stated their case to the jury. They brought the mom up to the stand first and she explained her side of the story up to the point where the police told her what was confessed. Next they had Steve on the stand, he told the people in the court the same story he told the cops. Andrew did not feel well and he left before any of them did. They questioned how his knife came into play and how Andrew's blood got on there. He smiled wider than ever and told them that he asked to play with Steve's knife and he cut himself grabbing it. The two others, Don and Jacob, gave the same story. After they were questioned the court had a recess before calling up Travis to the stand. Andrew's parents stepped outside for some fresh air, both frustrated the kids wouldn’t confess. It was only the first hearing so maybe they would later on. When the court was back in session, Travis was on the stand. Before the hearing the boys told him to change his story or they would make his life a living hell. They asked him about what had happened that day and he told them everything. The three other boys were so infuriated by what he had done the cops had to calm them down. The parents were relieved that one spoke up but also heart broken. The court was dismissed until the next hearing. A week went by and it was the day for the four boys to be sentenced. Because Travis confessed, he was sentenced to a year on probation. The other boys were to serve thirty days in juvie and two years probation. Andrew's parents were in such disbelief that the court would let them get off so easily for what they did. They deserved worse for the tragedy they caused this family but his parents were so distraught from the loss, they left it alone. They decided it was time for them to mourn their beloved boy. The next day they held the funeral. It was hosted at the church Andrew was baptized in as a baby. Due to them never finding the body they had pictures of him. They played a slideshow of the pictures from him as a baby to his most recent. The choir, he was in, sang a song to commemorate his memory. His best friend attempted to say the speech she wrote, but broke down halfway through. A few family friends mentioned their favorite memories with him as well. After the service was finished, his parents just lied in bed and cried in each other's arms. A month had passed and it was Halloween. Today Don, Jacob, and Steve left juvie. While they were there the three of them received an invitation to a costume party. Travis received one as well. It was seven at night and the four guys arrived at the party. It was located at an abandoned house near the railroad. The house was filled with so many people. This one kid dressed up as Jason told each of the boys that some of them were playing spin the bottle by the tracks. He gave each one of them a time to be there. The first one to meet him was Steve, he asked where everyone was and the kid hit him on the head with a Vodka bottle. As each one came the same thing happened. When they all had awakened Steve was tied to the tracks with his knife in his hand, while the rest of them were tied to trees. They were all wondering what was happening until the kid took off his mask. They never felt terror like they did just now. How was it possible? They all saw the train take him away. Andrew started to laugh and asked if they were happy to see him. Steve mocked Andrew for trying to play the tough card so Andrew stepped on the knife, making it go deeper in the ground. Steve laughed trying to hide the pain he was in asking Andrew if that was all he got. So Andrew kicked Steve multiple times just like they did to him, making the knife start to split his hand. He started screaming for him to stop and kept apologizing. He laughed and turned to the other guys and asked if they were enjoying the party. He went up to Don and Jacob, sticking fishing hooks in their tongues. Connected to the hooks he had a wire and he took about ten steps back before yanking at them hard and ripping them out. He told them he ripped it out since they kept what they did a secret. They both peed their pants and he pushed the both of them side to side calling them wusses. He looked at his watch and started to smile wide almost like the joker. They all felt the ground shake from under them. Steve screamed for Andrew to let him go, but Andrew just told him to enjoy the front row view of the train. Steve's body was gone along with the train in a matter of seconds. He made his way back to the two boys and stabbed them every place they kicked him until they bled out. Finally he turned to Travis. He thanked him for speaking up and telling the cops. He untied him and whispered in his ear for him to run. As Travis ran and Andrew turned and smiled….
