Crime Fiction Mystery

It was a typical Friday night at Club Storm which meant that there so many people on the dance floor that there was barely any room to dance, the music was loud and the alcohol was flowing. I had an arrangement with the owner of the club which was that I supply the "party enhancers" and he wouldn't call the cops.

I was making my way through the crowds slipping customers what they wanted and I pocketing their money. I couldn't of asked for a better night. The club was packed and I was making money hand over fist. That was until I sold some Ecstasy to the wrong person and ended up getting put in handcuffs and escorted out of the club.

They put me in the back of a black SUV and drove me to an office building. When I was escorted into the building I saw the F.B.I seal on the floor of the lobby, and I knew I was in a lot more trouble than I thought. I was escorted to one of the interrogation rooms and unceremoniously sat in a chair. The detective that I sold to sat in another chair across from me and explained to me just how much trouble I was in and how they didn't want me, they wanted my supplier. You know the usual stuff they tell drug dealers when they're out to get the "bigger fish."

Since I had no desire to spend time in a prison cell, the decision to help the police was a no brainer. I told them that Solomon Jaymes supplied the drugs but that the drugs weren't the only thing he was suppling to the club. He also supplied prostitutes to the high-end clients. I gave them all the details on how I get the drugs to sell and what little information I had on the prostitute end of it.

When they had all the information needed to get a sting going, they gave me paperwork to fill out which made me an official CI. They wanted to embed an F.B.I agent into his ranks so they could get all the evidence they would need to shut down his operations and put him in prison.

My job was to set up the meeting with Solomon. I told them that I had never spoken to Solomon himself so I would have to go through a few other people first so it might take a few days to get the meeting set up. The next night I met with my supplier and told him that business at the club is booming and that I would like to bring in a friend of mine to help me sell the product.

He was reluctant at first, knowing that Solomon wasn't known for trusting people, but I eventually convinced him to set up the meeting by promising him that with my friend's help we could double the amount of product we sell. Three days later I received a phone call from my supplier, and he told me that the meeting was set up and that on the day of the meeting I would receive a text with the address and time.

I got a text from my supplier the day of the meeting and like he said I got the address and time. I spent the previous couple of days with the F.B.I as they planned out as much as they could. As we drove to the address they went through the last minute changes to the plan. Once there the F.B.I set up other agents in strategic places where they had line of sight and I was set up with a tiny mic and camera so they could keep tabs on me.

I exited the SUV along with Agent Susie Tremaine and walked through the front doors of Club Storm where the meeting was to take place. We were escorted up to the VIP section and told to sit down at one of the tables. When everyone else who was involved with this meeting sat down I wasn't surprised to see that Solomon wasn't at this meeting. He had sent his second lieutenant, Sancho Vallejo to conduct the meeting. I introduced Agent Tremaine to Sancho as Kat Carlisle. I explained to Sancho the background on how Kat and I met, which was fabricated by her F.B.I handler, Thaddeus Addison, who from what I had told was one of the best the F.B.I had.

Our backstory was about how we met on a previous job along with all the details that went into creating a backstory that would stand up to any amount fact checking they decided to do. I also decided to add that I would vouch for her with my life. The way I figured it was that if this didn't work and they figured out that there is an F.B.I agent in their midst I would be killed or if Solomon found out I gave him up to the F.B.I I would be killed so I had nothing to lose.

Since the club wasn't open yet and there wasn't very many people around and I was tasked with keeping this meeting going Agent Adison to find Solomon's office. The F.B.I were looking for anything that could prove that drugs were being sold out of the club along anything else that was against the law.

Once the meeting got under way Agent Adison slipped through one of the doors at the back of the club and made his way to Solomon's office. He stood in front of the door, looked around to see if anyone else was around and then proceeded to pull out his lock picks. It took him all of about five seconds to pick the lock on the door and slip inside the office.

He walked up to the desk and started going through the drawers. He didn't find anything to speak of so he turned his attention to the desktop computer. He wiggled the mouse and the monitor lit up with the login screen. It took him a few attempts to guess the password but he ended up figuring it out. Once he was logged in he was able to pull up documents that proved beyond any doubt that drugs were being sold in the club as well and prostitution. There was enough damning evidence that they would be able to put Solomon away for the rest of his miserable life.

Agent Adison to pictures of each document and he accessed each document and he also copied each file onto a flash drive. Once he was done he exited out of all the documents he had pulled up and removed the flash drive from the computer. Just as he was locking the computer he heard muffled voices and footsteps heading to towards him. He quickly put the chair back where it was and slipped out the door of the office, locking it. He ran down a side hall just in time to see Sancho walk up and unlock the office door. Once he was inside, Agent Adison quickly and quietly made his way to the back door which he came in and left with the evidence that would put the whole F.B.I in his debt.
