ONE OF US

In the word there are three type of gender: Female, Male and Other. But if female and male gender are then OK but if other type of gender are appear then... someone make joke on them.

Here the story of this type of boy who categorize in “OTHER (Gay)”.

Mr. and Mrs. Roberts were got a baby after their 3 years marriage life. But it was not a boy either girl. Every people of their family not accept this child. They told both of them left this baby. But Mr. and Mrs. Roberts so kind they accept their baby.

Mr. and Mrs. Roberts left their old house and city and want so far from their old city. Mrs. Roberts gave a name to her child ‘Gerry ’. This is small and beautiful family.

Mr. and Mrs. Roberts always told inspiration story and told everything about Other Gender to Gerry. How this type of gender appear and Gerry was categorized in this gender, this was truth which Gary had to accept it. And little Gerry accepted it very easily.

But we told it simply “HAPPY ENDING”… No, story is start from when Gerry was entered in his teenage.

Gerry was too excited because Gerry had dream like every teenage boy and girl who live their age at school and make too many friends.

Their parents were happy too. Mrs. Roberts wake up in early morning for made breakfast and snakes for Mr. Roberts and Gerry.

Gerry was run away from his room to kitchen with excitement and said to his mother, “Mom-m-m-m” his breath was running fast, with this breath he told her mother “Mom, I am not late, Right?”

Mr. Roberts was listening Gerry who sat at the sofa and said, “Come dude here…”

Gerry breath was running normal now and said, “Dad, if I’ll late for my first day of school then everyone make joke on me.” Here, Gerry had fear if someone make joke on him.

Mrs. Roberts came near to Gerry told Gerry, “Ohhhh my kid just look at the clock” everyone looked at the clock and everyone laugh and Gerry said, “6 o’clock of Morning” and he laugh again because it still early.

Gerry was ready and reached school on time he was happy. And the other side after Gerry went to school Mr. and Mrs. Roberts discuss about Garry’s problem. Mr. Roberts said, “Look, our kid look happy!” but Mrs. Roberts Looked tense so Mr. Roberts asked her, “Why you looked sad?”

Mrs. Roberts answered, “I’m little worried if our kid will hurt by other kid and other naughty kid will make joke at Gerry then?”

Mr. Roberts hold Mrs. Roberts’s hand and said, “We have to trust on Gerry and how long we protect him? One day we have to leave him alone. He must face their problem by himself and believe on him and whatever knowledge we gave to our Gerry! Right?” looked at Mrs. Roberts’s eyes with big hope.

Mrs. Roberts looked and said, "YES, Let’s believe on him!"                               

Gerry was too happy he attempted his all class very clearly and calmly. He became a good-boy on their Teacher’s eye. So many boys came near to Gerry and asked, “Shall we friend?”

Gerry said with his big smile, “YES, Why not?”

All things was go smoothly and happy. But this happiness was not for long time. During lunch time Gerry went to washroom but one of his classmate saw him went into “GIRLS WASHROOM”. This naughty kid spread this news to everyone.

After lunch time when he came to his new friend then all gone. Gerry asked one of his friends, “Why you all behave like this?” Then his friend said, “Because you are gay!”

Gerry replied, “Yes I am! But this is not my fault, right? ” His newly friends went him. Gerry shouted, “This was only rezone for you to live me and ended our friendship?” No one turned and everyone ignored Gerry.

Gerry went to school happily and done happy greeted but after school no one talk with Gerry; He made a joke for naughty kids. Before this time, Gerry not faced this type of situation, so Gerry thought “What to do?”

He preferred walking instead of took bus to returned home. He reached home but his parents looked worried because he reached 1 hour latter.

Mrs. Roberts asked, “Why were you didn’t take bus? Anything happened, Dude?”

Gerry replied, “Mom, I was thinking and still thinking.”

Mr. Roberts asked suddenly, “What?” and sat beside the Gerry.

“My friends’ ended friendship with me just because I am Gay!” Gerry replied in heisted ton.

Mr. and Mrs. looked each other but they had no idea what to say and how can they gave replay. Gerry didn’t get answer and he became upset and went to his room with his had down.

Next day Gerry ready to go but he little nerves. But he made hope and bravely gone. But this day was as same as tomorrow because no one speaks with Gerry. This type of situation Gerry faces until 3 days.

After 3 days when Gerry reached home yes again 1 hour latter but this time he looked so scared because it was his limit to handle all naughty kids’ thought and joked.

He looked so scared so her mother asked him, “What happened kid? Can I help you? You’ll openly speak at front of us there is nothing to worry about anything.”

Gerry wiped his nose and said, “Nothing, I’ll want to rest. Please don’t disturb me!” and he left and to room and closed the door. With noise of closed door Mr. and Mrs. Roberts became so unhappy and worry for his kid.

Mr. Roberts said, “Don’t worry dear; everything happen for good so let’s hope for good!”

Mrs. Roberts looked so worry for Gerry but she still hold the good thing – ‘HE BRAVE and able to face his fear.’ and take a deep breath and went to their room.

Gerry laid his body on the bed for rest and closed his eye.

Suddenly everywhere brighter light spread. He didn’t see anything but something comes near to Gerry but he didn’t saw clearly what the thing it was was. Because there were brighter light spread. After some time it clearly saw and after seeing this Gerry was shocked and shouted and said, “You are me?????”

Gerry means another Gerry were there. Gerry heisted said, “You-you are me but you are little-little Gerry, how this possible, am I dreaming???”

To listen Gerry voice little Gerry replied with smiley face, “YES, dude!”

Gerry asked, “But why I dreaming something like that?”

“You aren’t facing your fear. Right?” Little Gerry asked question. And said, “Here I am because I wanted to show you something! Can I?”

“There is no other option so yes show whatever what you wanted to show me!” Gerry said in little voice, “It’s dream yet but let’s see!”

Little Gerry show his parents who were fought with their relative and said, “Look at your parents they are fighting only for you.”

Gerry asked, “But why they fought for me?” He looked at the little Gerry and said humbly, “You know that answer then tell me.”

Little Gerry show the scene when they left their home and their old city. At that time Gerry’s Mother said to baby Gerry, “I never gave up on you, if whatever happen.”

And Gerry’s father who sat beside Mrs. Roberts he said to baby Gerry, “Dude, if I have to make change the climate for you then I will Change the climate!”

Little Gerry bake him to the bright place and said, “Your parents fought for you with their relatives they never gave up on you and they accepted you. So why are you borrowed your fear with you? You have to face you fear just like your parents.”

Little Gerry said in little loud voice, “Now, Go and speak out and change the climate and face your fear!”

Then Gerry opened his eye and saw no one here. He looked at the clock then he realized he was late for his school. He quickly ready for the school but this time an old Gerry was there who were excited for the school just like his first day.

Before he went to school he said with full of his love to his parents, “Mom-Dad THANK-YOU, for never gave up on me. Now this is my time to FACE MY FEAR!” after listen this words Mr. and Mrs. Roberts looked happy and shocked and Mrs. Roberts’ eye filed with tears.

He reached school and on his first lecture he bagged to teacher for give some time to him. Because Gerry want to told something about him. Gerry’s teacher accepted his request.

When Gerry speak all the murmurs each other and pretends he was not here. But Gerry not gave up.

Gerry take a deep breath and started, “Hello everyone I am Gerry Roberts. I am Gay. I have no fear now because whatever you know about gay that’s not matter, whatever you thought even now thinking don’t matter. Now I have no fear to accept it, which I am! You know what why I am gay because I have little generic problem and nothing much. Someone type of you are normal but my type kids are also normal just we have some generic changes.”

Gerry made his louder and said, “I am not different I am one of you. You will say or not but I and my parents always told I am one of you and I am.”

Gerry’s teacher came to near Gerry and said, “You are ONE OF US, Kid.”

Not even teacher all the Gerry’s friend and their classmates accept Gerry and all together clapped for Gerry’s fearless speech and said all together, “ONE OF US, you are ONE OF US!”

Now Gerry had no fear. Just like Gerry we have to speak out of our problem and just little thinking of our parents who so much sacrifices for us.
