Radalimir grew up with a very loving family, but he eventually noticed as he got older that the structure he desired just wasn't there. He appreciated the love he received from his parents, but he felt like stable structuring was missing.
There would be times he would see his Dad come home after a whole day of being out. He would see his mother hide her frustration.
Once he became older and started to grasp what was really going on in his household, it was difficult to be quiet any longer.
Radalimir was 15 when he confronted his father about sleeping with another woman.
Radalimir: How could you? She loves you and you go out and sleep with another woman?!
Radalimir was very emotional with tears in his eyes and anger in his heart. He could feel the burning sensation as if he was his mother. He loves his mother very much and hated that she was so fragile and manipulated so easily.
Radalimir's father, Ronald was shocked and took it as instant disrespect. How dare his young son with no job talk to him, a man that way?
Ronald: You must have lost your mind at school or something. I pay the bills and keep food on the table which means I can do what I want.
Radalimir: While my mother cry and stress about you being gone and not being here with us, you're out there just having a ball with other women while I watch her pretend it's OK.
Ronald: All your mother needs to do is shut up and handler her duties. And what you need to do is completely shut up since you not the one putting food in these refrigerators and freezers. Are you?
Radalimir: You're a coward!
Ronald backhands Radalimir. Radalimir falls and hits his head on the wall a bit. Nothing is cut, but his head has a slight pound.
Ronald is unphased and careless.
Ronald: You lucky I didn't punch you in your gut. You'd be throwing up for days.
Radalimir: You're dead to me.
Ronald kicks Radalimir repeatedly and Radalimir covers himself. He angrily hops up and charges toward his father knocking him down on his back.
Radalimir and Ronald wrestles for a good 5 minutes. It would've been concluded if Radalimir's mother was home. She couldn't stand bickering.
Ronald wraps his hands around Radalimir's neck, but fails as Radalimir gains power over Ronald.
Radalimir ran out the house and went to his friend, Ray's house.
Ray: You and your Dad always argue. Maybe he just doesn't want to be there since he's never there.
Radalimir: Exactly. He just wants to feel like a Mack. He's wack.
Ray: You can stay here if you want. My Dad doesn't mind.
Radalimir: I may stay until my mother get off. I can't have her worried.
Radalimir did wonder what his Dad was up to and whether he would do anything to his room while he was gone. He was ready to fight if he had to about his room.
Radalimir spent 5 hours over Ray's house as they played the game after discussing the issue. Ray was able to help Radalimir calm down simply just being there because his advice wasn't completely what Radalimir would consider firstly.
Radalimir was independent and had an almost particular way about him and the way he approached things.
It was about 9p.m when Radalimir appeared back the house. The lights were on and it was quiet.
Once he stepped inside, he seen blood. It surely wasn't his blood. His heart dropped. What happened?!
All Radalimir could think about was his mother's safety.
Radalimir: Ma! Ma!
Radalimir screamed. No way something tragic happened.
Radalimir's mother, Regina came from the pantry looking confused as to why he had tears in his eyes.
Regina: Why are you crying?
Regina seemed to have no clue about the fight Radalimir and Ronald had.
Radalimir: I... I seen blood and was worried.
Regina: Your father's nose was bleeding when I got home. He said he don't know why it suddenly started bleeding. I was looking for some bleach and products to clean it up, but I probably don't have any.
It was clear that Ronald never told Regina about the fight. Maybe he lied. Radalimir decided he wasn't going to let his father just keep being deceptive. He was already cheating. No way. It was time.
Radalimir: Me and Dad was fighting earlier. That's why he nose was bleeding.
Regina: What? He didn't even say anything about it. Why did you guys fight?
Radalimir: I confronted him about sleeping around on you and he got defensive. It lead to is fighting eventually. He tried to choke me.
Regina: Radalimir, your father and I were always seeing other people.
Radalimir was shocked.
Regina: I have started second guessing it though. Turns out, it's not the same feeling.
They had a whole agreement that Radalimir didn't ever think was possible.
Regina: I knew what I was getting myself into when I dealt with your father. I started changing my feelings, but that doesn't mean your father is ready to change.
Radalimir: I still don't like how he spent a lot of his days out and not around you.
Regina: I was never the clingy type and I don't need him to be here all the time. I can admit that I do let my feelings get in the way sometimes, but me and your father had an agreement for years. I just really didn't want to date another man, but maybe it's time for me to. I actually do need the space when he's away sometimes.
Radalimir: What if he brings germs to you?
Regina: Our agreement includes him getting testing before trying to come home and sleep with me again. Trust me, we have all of that handled, baby. I love that you are so protective of me. I'm happy that I was able to tell you what was going on.
Radalimir didn't know how to feel and he actually started to feel stupid. For some reason, he ended up losing respect for his mother hearing this information. How could his mother be okay with his father sleeping around? Was she the same way before?
Radalimir: Thanks for telling me this mom. I feel better now.
Radalimir lied to hurry and end this conversation.
Regina went back to the pantry.
Radalimir called Ray on his cell phone because there was no way he was going to wait to tell him this.
Ray picks up.
Ray: Everything good?
Radalimir: Yeah. All this time, I am mad about my father sleeping out with other women and it turns out that my mother agreed to that the whole time. I'm so pissed bro. How could this be life?
Ray: That's shocking. There are some people that's okay with that though. Maybe she just never felt like you had to know that information.
Radalimir: I lost all respect for her. I just can't understand the good in that.
Ray couldn't understand why he was listening to his friend worry about something that was out of his control.
Ray: Just let them do their thing. It's out of your hands.
Radalimir heard a noise. He heard a squeak. Regina opens the door with a stare that could kill.
Regina: So you're telling my business?! How dare you judge me and you're just a teenager that hasn't even lived life yet?
Ray listened with his mouth opened.
Radalimir just stated at her with a neutral expression.
Regina slapped Radalimir. He was shocked. He held his face and stared in disbelief. Two incidents with his parents in 1 day.
Regina: Since I'm such a terrible mother, get out! Now!
Radalimir rushed out the house and ended up spending the night with Ray after all.
