Bees in the garden.

In a peaceful garden, there is a beehive in the trees. Each bee has its own duty to visit flowers to gather nectar, which is a sweet liquid produced by flowers. They use this nectar to make honey. The duty is for the working bees in the honeycomb.

There is one bee called laze who is lazy and has a negative feeling about her work. She thought that she and her friends had to work hard while the queen bee was just there to lay eggs. She knew that the queen bee must be selected from the whole bees in the hive to be the queen but she was still envy that the queen bee didn’t have to work hard like her.

But one day she found Diligy who was diligent and worked hard. She said to her that our task is beneficial and meaningful for the hive in creating food (honey) for the living of all members in the hive and while collecting nectar, bees also come into contact with pollen, which sticks to their bodies and is then transferred from one flower to another, aiding in the process of pollination. This is how many plants reproduce and produce fruits and seeds. It can help build a beautiful garden with a lot of flowers growing after pollination. So she rethought about the importance of herself and didn’t compare her duty to the queen bee anymore. She thought about the idiom the grass is always greener on the other side." It means that people often believe others have it better, without realizing that their own situation might be just as good or even better.

Laze didn’t know that the queen bee needed to do many things in each day. She had to take care of bee larvae and lead the team in the hive. It had to lay eggs, which ensured the colony's growth and sustainability.  She produced pheromones, known as the "queen's scent," which helps maintain the social order and cohesion within the hive. These pheromones inhibit other female bees from developing into new queens. She needed to form a new colony when the hive was overcrowded, she would lead the bees to leave the original hive to find a new location and establish a new colony. Laze didn’t know how difficult to be a leader like the queen bee so she was envious of her.

But after consulting with the wisdy, the senior working bee. She realized the responsibility of the queen bee and knew that she was more qualified than her. Then she accepted the case and did her own role at best and moreover, she learned from Diligy that her role as the working bee is important as well. She said that she would be part of building a fresh and beautiful garden and making honey for the hive and even for the human to get a good honey.

So she realized that if she gave people the good things, it would make the group better and she would have the willpower to do things more and more. She thought of the idiom “It is better to give than to receive." This idiom emphasizes the joy and fulfillment that come from helping others, suggesting that the act of giving brings more happiness and satisfaction than receiving something.

She realized the fact that she had to do her responsibility happily. Never mind her happiness; do her own duty. She can't escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today. Take responsibility for your own happiness, never put it in other people's hands. Until you accept responsibility for your life, someone else runs your life. Responsibility is a grace you give yourself not an obligation. “For capabilities, it is not about proving anything to the world. It is all about proving your capabilities to yourself and stretching your own boundaries.” Each bee would have her own capability, she had to accept what it is in herself and let the team delegate what each bee would do in the honeycomb. Do her own duty at best as long as we are in the same colony.

           After laze realized this, she would not be lazy anymore. She did her own duty and if she did better and better, she would have a comfort from the team and grow with the bigger roles in the hive. She knew that nothing came in easily, she had to make an effort and learn each day. If she tried hard enough and proved that she was qualified for the position of queen bee and got the vote and respect from other bees, she would do it at best without having to deny other roles and tasks that she had to do. At first, she must be experienced from the position of working bee and be ambitious and dream to be the new queen. If the day of proving his effort came, she might be selected from the bees to be that queen. At least we have the perseverance and determination, and all our dreams will come true.

           She might have a family of many bee larvae who developed into the team and colony. She had to have a good attitude in having a relationship with the team so that she could live well and grow further each day. She might control the bee workers to work hard and give the honey to her team and spread kindness, generosity, or benefits to all people with delicious super food like honey. She would be happy in her team and one day when people prepare honey tea for family gatherings, it would be tea-rific and terrific moment in everybody’s life.

           The moral from this story: we can do it at best for our duty and be ambitious to grow further. We should not only be envious of others if we don’t have much capability like her. But we should improve ourselves each day and then one day we will have a dream come true and be happy. Hope everyone enjoys my story, thank you.
