did i tell you about him he's mine yes he has to be mine he's all mine yes because i love him and that makes him mine yes all mine yes i told him he was mine because that's how it is and how it will be yes and he said no but i said yes and that means he's mine all mine and he said he had a girlfriend or maybe he didn't i wasn't really listening but he said something that wasn't yes and i just couldn't take it no couldn't take it you know what i mean i just couldn’t take it i wanted to tie him up at take him home with me if i could ha could you imagine that i mean that would just be crazy but no i couldn’t do that it would be silly no did i tell you about the time he asked me for help on that homework problem i mean oh boy was i able to help him with that homework problem i mean i practically did it for him and can you believe what he did next i mean get yourself ready for it because you just won't believe get ready are you ready are you sure you don't look ready you're really ready okay here it goes he said thank you can you believe it thank you i nearly melted right there can you believe it and how he said it to me me of all people me so that night i drove home as fast as i could yes i drove so fast and i ran a red light and i know that’s wrong but just felt felt felt yes that’s it just felt and that’s what i did i ran that red light and i got home and then i made him that card did i show you that card oh boy was that a card to end all cards what a card i tell you what a card yes i wrote a card and in that card i wrote this lovely poem yes a poem one of those things with the words all pretty didn't shakespeare write those things with the words about a girl and how she's a summer day wait didn't they say that it was about a boy you know those scholars who read all the things with the words all pretty and say what all those words all pretty actually mean yeah they said it was about a boy can you believe it i mean how perfect right he's a boy and i'm a boy and shakespeare wrote a poem about a boy so boys must like poems am i right so i wrote him a poem but i didn’t do it alone no not alone no you see i asked apollo for help yes that apollo the greek one with the poetry yes he also was a boy who loved a boy i think his name was cyparissus do you know the story it’s really sad yeah really sad you see apollo and cyparissus were so madly in love yes very very in love and then one day apollo gave cyparissus a deer yes a deer one of those animals that kinda looks maybe sorta like a horse i don’t know animals that well but anyway he gave cyparissus a deer but then cyparissus accidentally killed it with a javelin yeah one of those long spears that those olympians throw and oh my goodness was cyparissus so sad and i mean so so sad he felt felt felt yes that’s it just felt and then he did it he asked apollo to make his tears flow forever yes forever see i told you it was sad but anyway he asked apollo to make his tears flow forever and so apollo did and he turned cyparissus into a tree yes a tree one of those things with the bark and the leaves but this kind of tree had pines so i guess no leaves but anyway yes he turned him into a tree a sad tree yes so sad the sap looks like tears yes tears so his tears could flow forever because of the sap that looks like tears i wish i could turn him into a tree then i could look at him all day and he couldn’t say no because he’s a tree and trees can’t talk but anyway i asked apollo for help and he helped me write the poem and i knew it would work but i guess it didn’t but anyway i wrote one of those poems and gave him the card because i love him and he has to love me back just has to i mean what would i do without him he's just so handsome and smart and funny and loud and spontaneous but anyway he read it out loud and he must have liked it because he started laughing and i mean i didn’t make it very funny but maybe that last line was funny so he laughed but anyway he laughed and then he brushed his hair up out of his face oh my goodness have i told you about his hair his hair is so gorgeous and soft and all nutty brown and textured all rough like bark from a tree yes bark from a cypress tree like the one apollo made yes like a cypress tree and then he looked at me with his big old eyes and i mean that's pretty much him saying it without saying it and oh boy did i read what he said yes i read it he said it so loud i could hear it in the silence so i leaned over and kissed him oh yes i kissed him so soft on his lips like i went right for the lips and oh boy were his lips soft i kissed him so good and soft but he pushed me off can you believe it pushed me off like why would you do that when you practically said i could but anyway he said why did you do that and i said because you wanted me to and he said i never wanted you to do that and how was i supposed to know that i mean that's just how the world works right you do what you feel and that's the way it works just do don’t think only feel feel feel yes that’s it just feel you know zeus and poseidon and all those greeks they just did what they wanted so anyway when the card didn’t work i wrote him a song yes a song one of those things with the words all pretty but also with music and it took me a long time but i did it i didn’t do it alone no not alone no you see i asked apollo for help yes that apollo the greek one with the music yes he also was a boy who loved a boy yes i think his name was hyacinthus yes thats the name do you know the story it’s really sad yeah really sad you see apollo and hyacinthus were so madly in love yes very very in love but then apollo threw a discus yeah one of those heavy frisbees and then this other god who was so jealous of their love turned the winds yes he blew the discus right into hyacinthus’s head ouch right yes what a sad story that god just felt felt felt yes that’s it just felt and did what he wanted anyway apollo turned his dying lover into a flower yes a flower one of those sweet smelling things that look all pretty in the garden yes apollo turned him into a flower how beautiful i wish i could turn him into a flower then i could look at him all day in the garden and he can’t say no because he’s a flower and flowers can’t talk but anyway i asked apollo for help and he helped me write the song and i sang him that song as best as i could you know i’ve never had any voice training no never any voice training so i sang as best i could all off key and off rhythm you know yeah but anyway he just stood there looking at me with his big old eyes have i told you about his big old eyes oh my goodness let me tell you about his big old eyes yes he has these big old eyes and they’re so beautiful i mean i just want to pluck them out and put them in a jar ha could you imagine no i mean that would just be crazy but no i couldn’t do that it would be silly but anyway i sang him the song and he just stared at me with his big old eyes and oh boy did i read what he said yes i read it he said it so loud i could hear it over the buzzing lightbulb have i told you about that lightbulb oh my goodness it’s so loud it’s really annoying to have to work listening to that buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz all day long it’s so annoying and low but anyway i heard him loud and clear over that buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz so i leaned over and kissed him oh yes i kissed him so soft on his lips like i went right for the lips and i tasted his tongue oh my goodness did he taste so sweet on his tongue and i swear he tasted me too and oh my goodness i hope i tasted sweet too i really hope so but anyway yes i kissed him on his soft lips and tasted his sweet tongue and then he pushed me off can you believe it pushed me off like why would you do that and here’s where he broke me yes broke me right in half right through my heart too broke my heart in half and me too can you believe it he broke me in half no wait no that’s not right not he no not he you you did this to me you were the one i helped with the homework you were the one i wrote the poem for you were the one i kissed on the lips you were the one who i wrote the song for you were the one whose tongue i tasted all sweet it was you all you i can’t believe you i can’t believe that you won’t love me after all i’ve done for you i mean who else would write you a poem or a song or ask apollo for all these favors to show that they loved you i mean what else can i do what else just name it and i’ll do it please please please just let me know and i’ll do it i want you to love me i need you to love me need you please i need you please and i’m sorry i just got caught up in the moment and forgot that i was talking to you he why did i say he when you’re right in front of me i should’ve said you the whole time oh goodness gracious i’m sorry i forgot that i had you here right now all to myself all mine yes all mine i took you home with me and i’m sorry i’m really sorry i really didn’t want it to turn out this way but you know that’s just how the world is i felt something so i did it right i
