Professor Desire approached a wooden door and entered his lab, whilst carrying a syringe of blood. He approached his newest invention, a cloning machine. Mad scientist, eh? We'll see who's mad once this works. He walked around it to the syringe insert and put the syringe he was carrying into it. He returned to the front once more and powered on the machine.
Instantly, the machine came to life. The blood that was in the syringe began to fill the tank. It swirled around for a moment before taking the shape of a girl with blonde hair. It opened it's eyes and looked around.
She said nothing. Instead, she began bashing her head against the glass of the tank she was in.
"Easy there." Desire said as he released it. He watched the girl closely. The more he watched, the happier he got. "I've done it. I've successfully cloned someone."
While the professor was distracted, the girl escaped.
Desire looked around. Oh, no.
Meanwhile, two girls were hanging out at the park with their brother.
"Hey, Kela." one of the girls said. "Do you know why mom named our brother, Angel?"
Kela shrugged as she turned to her twin. "No idea, Dawn."
Just then, a boy approached them, whilst holding a soccer ball. "You guys wanna play?"
"Not now, Angel." Kela replied as she and Dawn turned to him.
"Are you guys talking about me, again?" Angel asked, curiously.
"Um, maybe." Dawn replied while looking anywhere but at him.
"Wow, you guys are rude." Angel commented. He scoffed. "Fine. I'll go play by myself." He then walked away.
After a few hours, "Dawn, Kela, Angel, time to go home." a lady called.
"Coming mom." Dawn and Kela said in unison as they ran towards her.
The lady looked around. "Where's Angel?"
"At the soccer field." Kela replied as said boy came running.
"Huh?" Angel said as he looked at Dawn in confusion. "You were just playing with me."
Dawn shook her head. "No. I was with Kela, the whole time."
"Weird." Angel said.
The lady and her kids walked towards the parking lot.
Angel glanced over his shoulder, only to see the girl he thought was his sister smiling and waving at him. He shuddered and faced forward, once again.
Sometime later, they arrived at home.
The lady sat in the living room, while Angel and his sisters went off to do their own thing. She turned on the news and what she saw, rocked her to her very core.
"Attention, everyone." the news reporter on the tv said. "This is important. A blonde haired, blue eyed girl has been wreaking havoc all over town. Her last known whereabouts was at the local park. Here's Susan live on the scene."
"Thanks, Mark." Susan said before facing the camera pointed at her. "Mark, I'm here with Professor Desire." She turned towards him. "Professor, please explain why you're so interested in finding this girl."
"I created her." Desire admitted. "I truly had the best of intentions, I swear."
"Hmm." Susan mused. "Tell me, Professor. Does she go by anything?"
Desire nodded. "I labeled the tank she was grown in D4."
"Well, you heard him folks. Keep away from D4." Susan said. "Back to you, Mark."
"Angel, come here." the lady called as said boy came entered the room.
"What?" Angel asked, curiously as he hung out in the living room doorway.
"The girl you played with at the park, did she mention her name?" the lay asked, nervously.
"Yep. Her name is D4." Angel replied. "Why do you ask?"
"Stay away from her" the lady warned in reply. "She's bad news."
Angel shrugged in confusion. "She didn't seem bad."
"That girl's been wreaking havoc all over town." the lady said.
Angel scoffed. "Whatever. You just don't want me to have friends. All you want is for me to just hang out with my sisters."
"That's not true." the lady assured.
"I'm going for a walk." Angel said with a huff as he left the house. As he walked down the street, the wind howled as it danced in his hair and with the fall leaves on the ground. A shiver ran down his spine as he heard footsteps approach.
"We meet again. Eh, Angel?" a familiar voice said as it's owner hid in darkness.
"Hello, D4." Angel said as he raised an eyebrow. "Why you hiding? I know what you look like."
"Fair point." D4 agreed as she approached.
Angel crossed his arms. "My mom says you're dangerous."
D4 smiled but said nothing.
"She also said you've been doing bad things all over town." Angel continued. "Is it true?"
D4 nodded. "Sorry, I have to do this."
"Do what?" Angel asked, nervously as he slowly back away from her.
"I'm alone, Angel." D4 said in a creepy tone as she approached him. "And you're gonna change that." She then punched him so hard that it knocked him out cold. "Come, brother." She dragged him away, smiling all the while.
The next day, "Girls, wake up." the lady said as she entered their room in panic. "I can't find your brother."
"Did you check his room?" Dawn asked with a groan as she sat up and put on her necklace which was hanging on the wall by her bed.
"I've looked all over the house." the lady assured in reply.
"Last night, while I was stargazing, I heard two people talking." Kela said as she also sat up and put her necklace on. "I looked down at the street and saw Angel with a girl that looked like Dawn, only she was wearing red instead of pink."
The lady froze. "That girl was D4."
"Who's D4?" Dawn asked, curiously.
"She's a clone of you, created by Professor Desire." the lady replied.
Dawn eyes widened. "That's my science teacher's name." She shrugged. "So, that's why he wanted a syringe of my blood."
Kela and their mom turned sharply toward Dawn.
"We have to get Angel back." Kela said as she got out of bed.
"I agree." Dawn said, also getting out of bed. "But how?"
"By finding Professor Desire's lab." Kela suggested. "We find that, we find D4 and Angel."
"Hmm. Let's do it." Dawn said as she and Kela prepared.
Meanwhile, D4 was pacing in front of a wall which an unconscious Angel was chained.
"Where am I?" Angel asked as soon as he came to his senses. He looked down and saw D4. "Release me, at once."
D4 looked up at him. Should I release him? Should I do the right thing and let him go?
Moments later, D4 heard footsteps. "Keep your mouth, shut. Understand?" she snapped at Angel.
Angel nodded nervously.
Satisfied, D4 went to see who was making noise.
"D4, we've come for our brother." Kela announced.
"Also, you need to stop trying to ruin my reputation." Dawn added.
D4 scoffed. "Oh, please. If anything, you're ruining mine."
"You're the clone, not me." Dawn sassed.
"Guess I'll have ta prove I'm better than you." D4 said as she attacked Dawn.
"No! Dawn!" Kela cried as she watched the fight in horror.
"Don't worry about me." Dawn said. "Just find Angel."
"I'll come back for you. Promise." Kela assured before running into the lab. "Angel, where are you?"
"Kela? Boy, I'm happy to see you." Angel said in relief.
"You didn't answer my question." Kela pointed out.
"Oops, sorry." Angel said. "I'm chained to the wall."
Kela looked up and saw him. "Hang on, I'll get you down." She searched around for something to free him until she spotted a key. She then freed Angel, who leapt down.
He looked around. "Where's Dawn and D4?"
"Fighting." Kela replied.
"Take me to them." Angel said as Kela nodded.
Moments later, they were at the entrance of the lab and saw Dawn and D4 still fighting.
"D4, listen." Angel said. "You don't have to be the bad guy."
Dawn and D4 stopped as Angel continued.
"The choice is yours, D4." Angel said.
"I choose to be bad." D4 revealed with a smile on her face. "It's way more fun. Although, while I had you chained up. I thought about letting you go."
"Why didn't you?" Angel asked, curiously.
"Cause, I saw what being good was like and I hated it." D4 admitted. "It looks so boring."
"Well, then." Angel said. He turned to his sisters. "Should we get her arrested?"
"Way ahead of you, brother." Dawn replied. "I've already called the police."
Angel's eyes widened. "How?"
"Trust me, bro." Kela said. "Don't question it."
Dawn smiled and winked at seemingly no one before she and her siblings sat and waited for the police to arrive.
The police eventually do arrive. However, D4 was nowhere to be found. Professor Desire got arrested and fired for cloning one of his students. Rumors say that D4 is still out there. Who knows who her next target will be? Stay safe out there.
