CW: death, mental illness, climate disaster Every night I lay awake thinking about new disasters in a faraway land - heatwaves, cold snaps, floods, droughts, wars, plagues, famine, death, wildfires - and every day my chest tightens and my breath shortens as I wait for the disasters to reach me.
