Rolling waves of vibrant green colored the hills and dales on a day that was touched by unfettered beams of light. The richness of the earth gave to the ocean of green strands a sheen that rippled with vivacity. Snow dangled from the branches. Some would fall, drifting onto my back. I shook it from my coat as I ran. And as I ran, I reveled. Through the long shadows given shape by pillars of pine.
