Born and raised on a Maryland dairy farm, I frequented all the historic sites in the Chesapeake Bay region pertaining to the War of 1812 and experienced all aspects of life along the Chesapeake Bay. Retired from diverse careers including nuclear security and disability support, I am focused on telling the stories and people in this overlooked era in American history. Father Michael Roach, Chief Historian of the Archdiocese of Baltimore and Saint Mary’s Seminary, guided my historical research. My writing background includes decades of serialized story-telling for RPG forums.
