I’m not a superhero. I couldn’t fight him and I couldn’t hide from him. He walks through the walls. But for us plain basic humans, there is hope. There is God. I was saved in the baptismal waters of a small Southern Baptist Church. Many people think I was somehow brainwashed because I was so young. Eleven and thirteen days is at the cusp of adolescence making adulthood only a short hop away. Besides, salvation is only understood through grace. In order of priority: 1. I'm a mom and wife, two grown adults, and one still making it there. 2. I'm a writer and reader. Writing because ideas often plague me, alongside trying to be a good writer. Reading is much easier and what I do the most. I have a blog I often review books on. 3. A high school English teacher and so everyday I love to try and help students to dream and be more while doing all the non-teaching jobs often required by the gods of educational bureaucracy.
