The breeze picks up in bursts of power rustling the branches, their movements staccato hissing in the air. Low rumbles ebb and flow across the distance and resonate in my chest. Dark gray blue clouds gather and roll gently but continually through the sky. The air smells of pending dampness; that earthy, musky scent that promises rain.
