*December 16, 2022 - *text message received*7:52pm: “We should talk…. come over.”…………….Midnight approaches. Paralyzed in thought and reminisce, Ria’s sitting on her walnut tan, leather sofa in her living room. Her eyes begin to water as she takes a sip of wine and delicately nurses the rim of her glass whilst staring out into the slow, rippling lake and trees covered in blankets of snow beneath the starry, night sky.
