Victoria Crenshaw was born and raised in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. She works as an
Accountant. She loves to read and write. As a young girl, she went to her first play and fell in
love with the theater. She wrote her first play "Generations" in 2005 and has written many other
poems and skits. She is a member of Star of Hope Baptist Church where she is active in the
drama ministry. She worked as a Stage Manager and an Assistant Stage manager for Theatre in
X (Beast of Nubia, Richard III, Dreamgirls and One Monkey don't stop a show), Azuka Theatre (A Hit Dog Will Holler), Inis
Nua Theatre (Hymn), Beacon Theatre Productions (Thousand Fibers), Philadelphia Artists
Collective (Wine in the Wilderness), Allen Lane Art Center (Keely and Du) and Jupiter
Productions (12 Chairs). In October 2025, I will be writing my first book.
