She ran to her house, skirts in her fists, hoping she wouldn't trip over them. She was late. Alice had promised her mother she would be on time but learning how to mend a broken leg was more interesting and useful than learning how to fold napkins. Time flew by faster when one did something they enjoyed. Alice finally got to the door of their house in Kensington.
