GODDESS OF THE BANYAN TREE By: Kogilavani Nagarajah I still remember it all clearly. It was a misty night. The whole surroundings looked mystical and eerie. The cold breeze was more of a torture than comfort. Even the bone inside my skin felt the chill. Sounds of teeth chattering in the cold was music to our ears.
