Collin dropped his sword and turned his back on the beast. The monster wasn’t a monster and he wasn’t a knight. His imagination had run away with him again. He was an errand boy for a woman too lazy to retrieve her own eggs, and the beast was just a disgruntled hen. He avoided the woman as he left. He avoided everyone.
