He reclined in the soft comfort of the chair, his lower lip tasting like blood & possible broken ribs. By now Ray had been sitting in his car for close to forty minutes contemplating whether to leave the car or just speed away. “After all it’s just a stupid event where no one will even remember you” , he reasoned.
