Tahirah Abubakr , aka Elder Iya Tahirah Is an internationally known Elder, an initiated priestess, a gifted diviner, metaphysical teachings, the founder of the St. Croix Council of Elders, a spiritual practitioner, a spiritual counselor, and a healer, Elder Tahirah embodied the teachings of her African ancestry and studies in indigenous cultures of both native and African people? She has had many interviews on the subjests of elderhood and te rising collective consciousness of the New Earth and she is a published co-author of emotional wellness for Women Volume published by Professional Women Network. She is a great-grandmother and is known in her community as a savory Chef and a mother to many. Today she spends time teaching and writing her memoirs. She envisions an Earth that will collectively recognize all of its being.
