The silence isn’t really silent anymore. Time’s started moving forward without her. It’s moving around her. She’s watching it. It’s leaving. She should follow behind, but something’s got its hands around her and it’s pulled her onto a bed of cotton. And the cotton, it’s- It’s in her mouth.
