Ann fell asleep at her desk again. That was the third time this week. Everyone said she was working too hard, but she didn't think so. Being a librarian had been a lifelong dream. To be surrounded by books all day was a fantasy, and now that she was living it, she didn't want to disappoint anyone. It was well past sunset, and darkness had enveloped the library.
