The alarm buzzed 3 short burst and was quiet. I tried to focus and remember what the man who installed the system had said that meant. The alarm buzzed 3 more times and I began to stretch toward the headboard to find the silent switch. Steve Davidson was born, raised, and still lives in Kentucky. “Dark” is the term most used by his readers to describe the overall tone of his work. “Therapy” is the term he uses. He has been writing since high school, short stories and poems, most of which have never been shared. His goal is to publish at least one novel in his lifetime. His biggest accomplishment in life are his children.
