Ronnie looked at Jason kneeling in front of her, and her gaze was captured for a moment by the open ring box in his hands. Everything seemed to slow down, and she realized that she was holding her breath. She exhaled, then met his brown eyes with hers.“Yes”, she said, smiling back at him. Jason was a fine man and would make a good husband and one day, a good father.
