While being 66-years-old may be considered to be too far advanced beyond the prime age for a self-published author, I see this as an advantage. I have years of experiences to draw from in my books; and should I write one that is a stinker, I can claim not to recall it due to age-supported selective memory! I write fiction (Historical Fiction my favorite) as generally it can be more believable than reality these days, and incorporate humor into most of my works to some degree. I write under the name of Stephen B. Allen as it is easier for people to spell and definitely much easier to pronounce. I love what I do...this ability to create books which no one else in the entire history of the world has been able to.
