A Thump in the Night By Stacy Leicht For years, my morning and evening ritual was to pull back my white cotton eyelet drapes and peek out my window in the morning. At times, I would be surprised to see a small fawn standing by its mother or a groundhog perched up on his hand legs gnawing a dandelion in the glistening morning sun.
