Once upon a midnight graveyard, I emerged from the dirt. I arose from my resting place in the cold ground where death held me in a tight embrace. Hearing the sizzle of grills throughout the food market seemed almost to be a beautiful symphony. Her eyes felt blessed by the sight of vendors selling all of her favorite foods, from the sweetest funnel cake to the spiciest of dumplings.
