The thing they don’t tell you about these corporate buildings is just how big they are. I mean, you’d expect them to be big, but when you’re standing at the bottom of one, they can make you feel small, insignificant even. How do buildings possess so much power? I suppose people give it to them. They see the rows upon rows of windows, the endless grey walls that fade into the concrete ground, and the steady stream of ‘professional’ looking workers that cycle throughout the building at all times of the day.
