The day was hot and sticky and with a hint of hot air blowing in from the south, and it promised to become even brutally hot before cooling down in the evening. Bhan stood in the middle of a huge crowd of kids, sweat dripping from his forehead, while the noise from the crowd sounded strangely muted in his ears.
