Rowan gazed out of the window, trying to calm his breathing. He had been roused by his nightmares. The ocean came into view amidst the darkness of the sky. He could distinctly hear the waves. He decided to go for a run to the ocean. The water was a calm midnight blue, save for the whiteness of the crashing waves.
