Author bio

I am a freelance journalist for over 40 years now but love to write short stories now and then. Sadly, though I have authored 26 books over the years, only three are short story collections, one is a translation of short stories bta famous Bengali author and the rest are non-fictioin. Publishers in India are not very fond of short stories by newbies like myself. One of my short stories bagged a prize at an online contest some years ago and one short story was selected and is now a part in a collection of the "Best Short Stories in South Asia" Published two years ago. I am 76 now but continue to dream of writing a bestseller before I call it a day.
