The Shelves and the Ooh Maker CHAPTER ONE The Ooh-maker, lived on the library shelves.  He liked books, shelves and making people say “Ooh.  The record stood at seventeen “oohs” from a sixty-eight year old lady.  The best way to make people say “ooh” in a library, was to squeeze behind a good heavy book, wait for someone to walk by, and shove the book off the shelf and onto their head.
