Sherry Miller, author, freelance writer and award-winning playwright has written more than 400 articles for magazines and newspapers nationwide. Her features, travel and profiles have appeared on the pages of the Chicago Tribune, Woman's World, Chicago Life, Success, Vail/Beaver Creek Magazine, Inland Boating, and Shore Magazine as well as other publications. At the Joliet Herald News, she enjoyed a stint as columnist. In the 1980's, she was a Radio/TV producer and on-air personality in Chicagoland at Channel 66, WJOL, WCCQ, and WJRC featuring celebrity interviews. Working as a flight attendant for American Airlines 34 1/2 years, she honed her people skills and studied the world. She taught Beginning Playwriting at Lewis University in 2003/2004. Lately, she's turned to fiction, putting the final touches on a Middle Grade novel. And engages in activist causes learning about and hoping to better the world. And mixing in fun on the ski slopes, bicycle paths, and ballroom dancing whenever she can.
