I am a recently retired financial services professional who has always had a love of reading and writing. When I was little, I thought I wanted to be a journalist or a writer, but I quickly came to the conclusion that I didn't have enough life experience to write fiction. A good part of my career has been spent writing business/economic content where I developed a skill for crafting a story around topics that many would normally find uninteresting. I have a couple of ideas for novels bouncing around in my head. I am very interested in the theme of women starting over in mid-life after a major life change, which can include death of a partner or child, divorce, illness, or job/business loss.
