It was the summer of 1999. When my parents gave me the news I was beyond excited. I was finally moving schools and away from Beverly Hills. My last two years going to Beverly Hills High school felt like an eternity. I had always felt like I did not belong here in Los Angeles, I was more of a country girl than a city girl. I concluded in my time going to Beverly. Going there felt like those movies that you see on tv. You know, the ones where there is always that group of popular kids with the jocks and their constantly glammed up girlfriends....

It was May 23rd, 1993 when I first saw him. I was leaving a high school party from my friend Kaylaβs house. I walked out of the house and said goodbye to a couple of friends that were drinking outside on her front patio. As I was walking to my car I saw a beige Ford Fiesta slowly pass by. The windows were clear enough that the darkness of that night went through the windows of the vehicle.
