It was the summer of 1999. When my parents gave me the news I was beyond excited. I was finally moving schools and away from Beverly Hills. My last two years going to Beverly Hills High school felt like an eternity. I had always felt like I did not belong here in Los Angeles, I was more of a country girl than a city girl. I concluded in my time going to Beverly. Going there felt like those movies that you see on tv. It was May 23rd, 1993 when I first saw him. I was leaving a high school party from my friend Kayla’s house. I walked out of the house and said goodbye to a couple of friends that were drinking outside on her front patio. As I was walking to my car I saw a beige Ford Fiesta slowly pass by. The windows were clear enough that the darkness of that night went through the windows of the vehicle.
