The street had been covered by an awful mass of tendrils and claws, eyes sprouted from the walls of nearby buildings, hands burst forth to grip random objects and ankles, and jaws filled with rows upon rows of rotating teeth opened up in the ground. Sometimes I wish I had a calendar. A paper one. Having one on my phone is, somehow, not striking enough for me to notice every morning. Breakfast is always the same bread and jam. I don't have enough money to afford good things like milk and cereal. I only have myself to blame for that. It's a terrible job that I have. But thankfully, it's a weekend today.
