On this Sunday evening, Carter County’s impressive modern indoor swim facility was closed to the public because First Baptist Church was hosting their annual poorly named, “Wet for Christ” family pool party. The pulsing buzz of the facility’s lights was dampened by refrains of “How Great is our God” pouring out of the sound system.
