I never considered myself a writer. I struggled with English classes in school. My wife/editor can attest that I am not always good at getting everything in the correct order. But the stories are there, and getting them out into the world has been a blast. I started my first book Eyes of Blue in 2018. I was 38 years old. It started because I had a worm in my head that became the beginning lines of the story. It was just that simple. Then the story took on a life of its own. I am now writing the third book in the series that Eyes started; Loss of Blue. It should bring the two previous stories together and have an ending that is as profound as it is satisfying. I still work a 40-hour week while trying to advertise, write, and market my work. It is a tough road, but the end result is not to get rich off of my writing, or even have it replace my daily job. It is just seeing my ideas resonate with the people who read them.
