She was late. Fifteen minutes and counting. Jules looked up to the sky to find it a milky grey. The clouds swarmed, chasing each other in a self-destructive spiral. It was a sobering thought. I would know; I was drunk at the time. We were in the back garden. An unbearable chill clung to the air, but my beer-jacket was doing the job – my actual jacket did sod all.
