I am a behavioral neuropathologist, which means I tend to sprinkle a little science in my writing. Be it how trees communicate or how memories change with each recollection, there will be little nods to real life medical conditions in much of my work. Some are exaggerated to demonstrate a point, but underneath the stage make-up they are all very real.
