Stories have always been a past time of mine, whether I read them, watch them or make up my own, stories have gotten me through a lot.
I began writing for several reasons... to see my internal stories come to life; to express things I couldn't otherwise; because I couldn't find a book that had exactly the story I wanted to read...
I never expected that others would enjoy my writing but I am always happy when someone does especially when they can relate to my characters in some way.
