Departed and Co Solicitors. J.D. Salter was tired. She sat at her desk, her breath fogging in the cold air in front of her. The room was a small but respectable personal office, one wall was filled with the latest legal journals and reference information. The other old tattered volumes of legal codes from across centuries some with translation guides next to them to help with archaic wording.
